RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY For Online Purchases Only

At Gouden, we stand behind the quality of our products. We understand that sometimes a purchase might not work out as expected, so we offer hassle-free returns(only if the item has a defect) and exchanges under the following conditions:

  1. Timeframe: You have a 7-day window from the date of purchase to request a refund or exchange, provided you have proof of purchase or the order number.

  2. Condition: All items for return or exchange must be in their original condition – unwashed, unaltered, and spotless – with all tags intact.

  3. Size Exchange: Need a different size? No problem! You can exchange your purchased item for a different size, subject to availability.

  4. Review Process: Once you submit your request, our team will promptly review it. You'll receive an email shortly afterward with the status of your request.

Please note the following:

  • Shipping Expenses: Any shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Processing Time: Returns and exchanges may take up to 5 business days to process.
  • Payment Method: All returns are facilitated through Instapay for a seamless process.

We select and test fabrics to ensure that all garments may be machine-washed easily. That said, please follow the care instructions of each garment. When in doubt, hand wash always wins. And if you want to use the washer, please place them with similar colors.

Our three rules to go by: 

  1. Hand wash — For delicate items stick to spot cleaning only. Otherwise, handwash cold with a mild detergent to maintain the colour and feel. Leave to soak for a few minutes, then treat with a fabric conditioner in the final rinse to keep its feel. Rinse well in cold water and avoid wringing, keep to line drying your garment inside-out, away from the sunlight. 
  2. Wash cold — Wash clothes in cold water, as opposed to warm or hot, and always wait until you have a full load. Hang or lay flat to dry. 
  3. Steaming and ironing — For everything cupro, turn your garment inside out and iron it on the lowest setting. Spray some water to help straighten out the wrinkles. For everything else, turn your garment inside out and iron it on a medium heat setting.
